REVOLUTION BROADCASTING CORP

Given TAB Prestigious Lone Star Leader Award for 2007

Revolution Broadcasting Corporation, parent company of radio stations KERV; KRVL; KOOK; KXXY; KMBL, KHOS and RevFMRadio.com, received notification on July 13th from the Texas Association of Broadcasters, that this year’s Lone Star Leader Award for small market radio would be presented on Thursday August 9th during the Community Service Awards Breakfast held at The Renaissance Austin Hotel, kicking off the TAB's annual convention. Accepting the honor for RBC will be Traffic Director Dianne Philips of Harper. The award is based on RBC’s contribution of the greatest number of announcements to the Texas Association of Broadcaster’s NCSA program in Texas small market radio.

NCSA Lone Star Leader Awards

Each year, TAB presents Texas television and radio stations with the NCSA Lone Star Leader Award. This award represents the commitment made by stations, including number of spots aired and greatest dollar amount donated, to the NCSA

TAB’s Non-Commercial Sustaining Announcement Program

How does it work?

  • Government agencies and non-profit organizations partner with TAB to extend the reach of public service messages
  • TAB distributes the message to every radio and television station in Texas
  • Broadcasters generously donate airtime to the campaign and send reporting affidavits to TAB
  • TAB handles all the tracking
  • Sponsor receives documented airtime in all Texas markets – at a minimum 3:1 of the fee they paid TAB!

Texas Broadcasters contributed over $3 billion to Public Services. RBC is proud of the quality of their Employees, Customers and Community and accepting this award reflects that quality.
